Depending on the assignment settings, you may be able to view your Turnitin Similarity Report after submitting an assignment. Instructors can set the report to show to students immediately after submitting an assignment, after grading, after the due date, or never.
Viewing your Similarity Report
To view your similarity report, complete the following steps:
- Within your Canvas module, click the Assignment tab and select the name of your assignment.
- On the right side of the screen, click Submission Details.
- If your Similarity Report is available to you to view, you should be able to click on the bubble with the % in it to view the report in a new tab.
The percentage range is 0% to 100%. The possible similarity ranges are:
- Blue: No matching text
- Green: One word to 24% matching text
- Yellow: 25-49% matching text
- Orange: 50-74% matching text
- Red: 75-100% matching text
