LinkedIn learning is a training platform which provides video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. The platform is open to all MTU students and staff as part of the N-tuttor project.


Linkedin Learning Accounts can be claimed, and Linkedin Learning can be accessed, via Canvas.


To claim your Linkedin Learning account through the Canvas Student App, please:



1. In the Canvas student mobile app:

  • Please access the "Canvas Learn" module




  • In "Canvas Learn", please access the section "Linkedin Learning"
  • On the next page, click on the self-enrolment link








2. In the next screen, click on the button "Enrol in Module"

3. Once this has been done, click on "Canvas Student" to return to the Canvas Student App

4. On your dashboard, you should be able to see "linkedin Learning - MTU Cork Student"

5. You can access Linkedin Learning Courses by going into "Units" and select "2 Setting up your MTU Linkedin Learning Account"

6. At the bottom of the page, select the option to Launch external Tool

7.  The first time you access this, you’ll be asked to sign in/ Create an account. 
  • Select the option to Create a Linkedin Learning Account

  • If this popup appears, just select Don’t connect my account

8. You should now be able to view the LinkedIn Learning Content! Please complete the video.

If you have any difficulties accessing Linkedin Learning using your mobile browser, please instead access it using a desktop or laptop browser.
