24/7 Support

CIT students have access to a 24/7 Tier 1 support service by Canvas. This service can be accessed, for the most part, from Canvas’ Help Menu which appears in the platform’s main menu.


Live chat with Canvas Support!

We would encourage all students to use the Web Chat as the first port of call in terms of support. This has the added benefit of reporting the module and area of Canvas that you are in at that point.

Search the Canvas Guides

The Canvas Community is a great resource for accessing Guides, articles, videos and other resources. As a registered Canvas user, you will have full access to these from within the platform and can also contribute or ask questions of other Canvas community users.

Report a problem

If something is not functioning for some reason in Canvas, use this tool to report and escalate the issue to support staff.
