Canvas Studio allows you to record both a screen capture and webcam capture. Canvas Studio currently referes to Screencastomatic or Screen Capture to record your screen or webcam - these perform the same task, but are named differently in different browsers.

Note: You will be prompted to download the screen recorder the first time you access it in Canvas Studio:

Open Canvas Studio in Canvas via your global navigation menu to the left of your screen in Canvas.

Click Allow - if you don't, you will not be able to record your open application windows and only your desktop image will be recorded. If this problem persists, close Canvas Studio and logo out of Canvas. Restart Canvas and open Canvas Studio.
